Disney Mug Tuesday- Fairy Godmother Mug

This weeks mug shows off my family’s love for the movie Cinderella. My daughter is obsessed with this movie and when we went to Disney we met Cinderella three times cause my daughter just could not get enough and we even had dinner in Cinderella’s castle.

I got this mug for my wife to remind her that things take time and not everything happens when you want them to. We start renovating the house and making upgrades and things we all over the place. She picked it up this past weekend and said it was a great reminder.

We still enjoyed meeting Cinderella and her stepsisters. I hope next time we can meet the Fairy Godmother herself.

Disney Take Two

I am happy to announce that we are heading back to Disney in 2018!

This week I have been in touch with my travel agent and we are in the process of planning another epic trip to Disney World in April 2018. I am already registered to run the Star Wars Half Marathon a weekend in April so we decided to turn that weekend in a extra long trip as a family.

This time around it will be just the four of us going. That makes me sad but I feel we can manage an extended stay with only two adults. I am so excited to be planning this trip. I already have selected some of the places I want to make dining reservations at. I have been reading the food blogs like crazy. There was still so much to do that last time we could not squeeze it all in.

I am very excited to get back down there and I know my kids are.

Disney World here were come…again

Disney Mug Tuesday- Poison Apple Mug

You might have seen this mug on my Instagram page or on my Facebook but it is one of my favorite mugs cause it s so cool looking. One of my favorite Disney movies is the OG herself Snow White. It is just a classic. I tried letting K-Dub watch it but the Evil Queen scared the crap out of her.

It was also really cool when we were at Disney we met the same Snow White twice and she was so nice. She even recognized us the second time we met.

Also The Seven Dwarf’s Mine Train was in fact K-Dub’s first ever rollercoaster.

Disney Mug Tuesday- Magic Kingdom Starbucks Mug

So as I did on my first Disney Mug Tuesday, I am going to showcase yet another Disney mug I found a Starbucks inside one of the parks. This week I am showing off my Starbucks Magic Kingdom mug.

Magic Kingdom was not my favorite park but it was still one that was pretty cool. It was where mu daughters met most of their favorite princesses, we at some really good food, and we the rides we classic and amazing. My favorite memory about this park was eating dinner inside Cinderella’s castle while the fireworks were going off. We got to see them from way above the crowd and it was super special.

Every time I look at this coffee mug I am reminded of all those fun times with my family. I sure can’t wait to go back but it is nice I have a piece of of The Magic Kingdom here at home with me.

Disney Mug Tuesday- Chalkboard Mug

Continuing on from last week, this weeks Disney mug is one of my favorites but it is actually not mine. When we were at Disney World I never seen this mug. My wife liked this mug and when we were in Disney her sister bought it for her friend.

After we got home my wife made comment that she wanted this mug so I got on the Disney Parks app and ordered it and when it came I fell in love with it to.

Don’t forget to tag me on your Disney mug pics on Instagram at tmfunde or twitter @TFunDaddy. Have a great Tuesday!

Back To Business- 215!

So now that I am back from Disney I am back to reality of work, family and the gym. Being home sucks and I wish I was back at The Magic Kingdom stuffing my face with Mickey Mouse shaped pastries of some kind. Don’t follow the Disney Food Blog cause all it does is make you wish you were there and that you had a spoon full of Dole Whip in your mouth. Seriously, it is like torture to look at that blog before lunch.

Since getting back from Disney World I have been busting it in the gym. My coach has been pushing me and now I am having to get down to 215 in four weeks. The pressure is on. I have gone on a very low carb diet and only allowing myself on cheat meal or snack on Saturday. This past weekend I indulged myself with a doughnut from the new local doughnut store that just opened. Very good I must say. Eating meat and veggies is not that hard but at times its is hard to get someone else to understand who has no clue. My favorite go to snack is bacon wrapped asparagus. Really is the best thing you can put in your mouth and it is super easy to make. Also, lettuce wraps have become my new favorite type of sandwich.

I have been concentrating on my power snatch and push presses. I must say that the new programing I am on has been working. Not that anything was wrong with my former program but this one is 100% tailored to me and what I want to accomplish. I have been busting a chest and arm routine, a back and leg routine on days I can’t quite make it to the gym and I am seeing results.

So with this being said, I am glad to be home and back to working on my goals. It still kills to see Disney World photos on Instagram cause now I am dying to get back there. I told my wife it was time to plan our next trip.

The Last Day

Well we finally got to the last day of our trip it was one of my favorites. We really ended our trip to Disney with some great memories and you will see why.

We got to the park early as we had reservations at Be Our Guest, which is the Beast’s castle from the movie. First, we had to stop and take a few pics while the park was almost empty.

Being inside the Beast’s castle was awesome. We got to eat in the main ballroom. It was decorated just like the movie.

You could even go into the West Wing and see the rose and the magic mirror.

If you ever eat there you must try “The Grey Stuff” cause it is really good.

After we got done with breakfast we took some family pics in front of the castle.

After that we went our separate ways as everyone wanted to do different things. I took K-Dub to meet Princess Elena and Cinderella.

After we met the princesses we met Cinderella’s evil stepsisters. They were funny and fun to talk to.

Then after that we got on The Haunted Mansion and got some snacks and watched a show in front of the castle.

After the show, K-Dub went and got a special makeover at The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.

She then had some cute pictures made at her photoshoot.

She looked so cute. I had to get my picture taken with her.

After her make over we watched the parade that was going through and I tried to get the sword out of the stone with no luck.

Even K-Dub danced around cause she was so happy.

Then it dark and I managed to get some cool shots.

Before heading to dinner I took K-Dub and we met the last two princesses on her list… Tiana and Rapunzel.

Then it was time for dinner and it was the meal I was looking the most forward to and that was in Cinderella’s Castle. When we got there we were greeted by none other then Cinderella herself. We changed K-Dub into her Cinderella dress so she could meet her favorite princess for the third time.

Then after you meet her you are sent to your table. The restaurant is rather small but it is pretty cool to be eating dinner in a castle.

Before dinner you are greeted by more princesses. We met all of them already except for Jasmine so we were glad to finally meet her.

Then the food came. Let me tell you that the pan seared chicken was on point.

My best friends beef and shrimp looked good to. He said his steak was cooked perfectly.

The it was time for desert and I got the chocolate mousse and it came out and looked like a clock. It almost looked too pretty to eat. It tasted better then it looked.

After dinner the fireworks started and we watched them from inside the castle. It was a memory I will never forget and a great finale to our trip.

I must say that this trip was everything I wanted it to be and more. I got to spend time with my family and make my little girls dreams come true. I am now a Disney fanatic and can’t wait to plan my next trip.

The Last 3 Days Part 1- Back To The Kingdom

Sorry for the short break. The Wifi in the room was not very good so I had to wait until I was home before I could share more pics of the trip.

Day 4 had us venturing back to The Magic Kingdom for some more fun. The first thing was a breakfast at 1900 Park Fare which was by far my favorite breakfast on our trip. There we ran into some familiar faces like Mary Poppins, Alice, The Mad Hatter, and Pooh and Tigger.

Then we headed to the park and rode The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train!

Then we got the great flying elephant DUMBO!!!!

And of course THE SPINNING TEACUPS!

After our spin we walked around the park and I manage to get some cute shots of the kids

After we ate a great dinner at Liberty Tree we got on Aladdin’s magic carpets.

Finally it was time to go but not without witnessing the awesome fireworks of The Magic Kingdom.

It was a great way to end a great day!
