Disney Mug Tuesday- Pluto Mug

If you read yesterday’s blog then you know that I just finished the Disney Virtual Race Series for 2017 and I am thrilled to have done it. Yes, it was only three 5k races and I have ran a marathon but it was nice to run a race at my pace to get me warmed up for my fall races I have coming up.

The best part about these races are that they were Pluto themed. Each month you got a piece of Pluto and if you signed up for all three races you got the medal with Pluto on it. Everyone knows I am a Disney freak ever since going to Disney World for the first time back in March.

To go along with my favorite Disney dog I got this mug and I have to say it has become one of my favorite ones. It holds a lot of coffee first and foremost and it is also really easy to drink out of thanks to the lip on the rim.

When I use this mug I think of meeting Pluto and how happy my kids were to meet him.

#MedalMonday- Disney Virtual Race- August

We have not had a medal Monday Monday in a while and I completed my virtual race for August! I have to say this was a fun event and I managed to get the August medal and the medal for completing all three races. So now that this series of races are over I have a lot of great things happening in the fall that I am super excited about. I even got my family involved in some of them.

Here is the August mug

Here is the one for the entire series of three races!

#MedalMonday- Disney Virtual Race- July

It has been a hot minute since I posted a Medal Monday so I recently completed my time for the July Disney Virtual Race and wanted to share my medal for the month.

This month I really hopped back on the track and treadmill. I have not really ran this hard since the Charlotte Marathon event last November so it has been since to work my distance back up and to get me ready for the races and competitions I have coming in 2018.

#MedalMonday- Disney Virtual Race- June

I said a couple of weeks back that I have found a new love for virtual races. They are fun to do and you can do them on your time. There is not crowd of people to fight though so really can go your own pace.

I found out that Disney has its own virtual race series going on this summer. So I checked it out. I mean I love running and I REALLY love Disney so this was a no brainer.

I signed up for the whole entire series and I ran my first one Tuesday to wrap up the month of June’s 5k. I am really excited to have done this race and it features one of my favorite characters and that is Pluto!

Animal Kingdom- Its A Jungle Out There!

Today was day three of our trip and we spent the day at none other then Animal Kingdom! It was awesome seeing the big tree of life up close.

We made our way to ride Everest first!

We are the ones in the back

After we did that we went on an awesome safari.

We of course we had to get some sweets.

The we went on some Dino rides with kids and met a few new friends. Also stroller naps do wonders for a tired and out of control kid.

After that we had lunch in a rainforest.

There was a little thunderstorm but it was cool.

After a good meal my buddy and I went on the more adult and scary dinosaur ride. My face will say it all….

Here is a better pic

After everyone went on that and a few other things we had dinner with Mickey and some safari pals at Tusker House.

I even made a new BFF…

Then it started to rain and rain and rain some more. We did manage to ride the rapid ride and it was awesome and wet…very wet…we got soaked!

It was an awesome day but I am tired. Tomorrow we go around the world in Epcot!
